This is a drawing representing a classic column made in the baroque / rococo style.
It is made with a variety of mediums: grayscale markers, black pen, and red watercolor pencil. Those helped me to show the fine details and focus the eye at the top of the column, which is the focal point.
The vertical lines are becoming the implied lines that are guiding the eyes to the focal point and as well the diagonal lines from the top are doing the same.
The horizon line is not visible and this is causing the impression that the view is from the bottom to the top and it's emphasizing the fact that the column is really tall.
Things that can be improved: the background can be more accentuated and maybe the perspective as well to show the idea of depth.
