Semester 2 - week 8 - Scenic composition
This drawing aims to show how a composition can be framed to look pleasant to watch and to drive the eye everywhere.
It was made with a black pen which helped accentuating the important parts, and with the shadows and details.
The focal point is the begging of the causeway which then is driving the eye through the entire image with a little bit of help of the trees which are situated in the rule of thirds.
The horizon line is where the road is ending and it's also helping with the settling of the entire composition, because the road is so dynamic and has a really powerful impact. The trees are also vertical and not only are driving the eye but they are helping with the impression of the friezed time.
Things that could be improved are the shadows that can be more harder to make the illusion of depth.
